Good Evening guys
I am going to tell a story of a small town lady.
She did so many struggles in her life to achieve her dreams.
And now become an inspiration for others.
MRS SANGEETA MODI
A place where sindoor in the hair and veil on face is considered to be the end of a woman’s dreams, Mrs Sangeeta Modi has set up a glamorous example for the pretty ladies out there. The lady, hailing from a small town of Bhagalpur (Bihar) at a small age entered Ranchi as ‘Ghar Ki Laxmi’. Hailing from a small town, the only expectations was that she’d prove to be an ‘Aadarsh Bahu’ and ‘Achhi Maa’ one day. But who knew, that this Bahu was indeed their Ghar Ki Laxmi’. Who knew that the mehandi on her hands had not only enhanced her beauty and feminity but also added grace and colours to her destiny. Since her ‘doll days’ she had an immense love for fashion, but this doll also had a willpower as unmatched as her silk. Continuing her fashion studies post marriage, the lady completed her PG in 1982, her talent had now grown the wings, soaring high with her in laws’ aashirvaad and mother’s support. The lady now marched ahead, to persevere and stumble, but never to look back. Twenty years she kept swimming in struggle, grabbing a few projects here and there. After all, in a small city like Ranchi, who had heard of fashion designers and labels, but the lady knew that success never knocks at your door, no Matter how pretty or talented you might be, you got to go ahead and grab it. In the year 2004, she finally opened a fashion boutique in Jharkhand, the first of its kind. Though the initial days seemed long, with a few customers, but when has the long path ever deceived the traveller? She’s now the most sought after designer here. She now has a couple of designers and interns blooming under her.
The Kajal in her eyes, though with the grace of her experience, has deepened, but the colour of her dreams are still vibrant chasing her next ambition of starting her own label and getting a nationwide recognition.
To all the ladies out there, she just wants to say that they should follow their dreams and atleast once live their dreams, after all who knows next life will be there or not!
